“花脸节”是丘北县彝族群众古老而隆重的传统节日，延续至今已有上千年的历史。从原始的驱邪纳福民俗活动，逐渐演变成为尊重自然、追求爱情和全民狂欢的节庆活动。人们用香谷草和香料做成的黑灰互抹花脸，脸被别人抹得越黑，吉祥和幸福就越会降临到自己身上。
